Boxing Koala

Conor and friends from Remi Wolf came in and got tattooed whilst they were in Melbourne. Conor requested a spin on the traditional boxing kangaroo. Benny delivered the “tough but cute boxing koala” design brief.

Iron Gate Tattoo Convention

We’re excited to be working at Australia’s new premier tattoo convention Iron Gate in November.

MTCo along with some of the best tattooers within the community will be showcasing the talent and diversity within Australian tattooing. The Iron Gate will be the event to get together, get tattooed, share ideas, meet new people and connect with some of the best in the industry!

The Iron Gate Tattoo Convention will be held at the famous Horden Pavilion in Moore Park, Sydney from the 3rd to the 5th of November.

When I chose the name for the fanzine years ago, the tattoo tour and eventually for the books, I had something else in mind: Our Tribe, Our Tribal behaviors, Our History and Our Traditions. 

In our fast-moving society, these things often get lost or worse, don't matter to folks, to begin with.  Our goal is to preserve tattoo history first and foremost and to represent with our books the best of the past and present, offering the reader a unique look into the world of tattooing. - Patrick Kitzel
