Back into the swing of things!
We had a couple of back pieces started, continued and finished off last week. Massive effort from both the clients and the tattooers.
If you’ve been thinking about getting your back tattooed, get in touch with the Tatt Co. For bookings & enquiries, call the shop on 03 9602 2555 or send through an enquiry.
Road trippin' to Iron Gate 2024
The Tatt Co made the trip up to Sydney for this years’ Iron Gate tattoo convention. A big thank you to everyone that stopped by the booth, got tattooed or picked up a book and merch!
We’re back in Melbourne and we have appointments available before Christmas. For bookings and enquiries, call the Tatt Co on 03 9602 2555 or fill out our enquiry form.
Foo Dog Cover Up
Zoë recently had the challenge of covering up an old speed racer tattoo on Dillon’s forearm. Having discussed what would and wouldn’t work to cover the existing line work, Dillon went with a foo dog/guardian lion. Check out the process below!
Work in progress
Geoffery sat strong and Matt finished off the shading and started the colour on his kitsune sleeve.
Lady luck is on your side!
It was great having Kieran come through the Tatt Co this week and pick up a couple of new tattoos off Tom. One of which was a lovely lady head.
If you’re interested in getting a lady head tattoo, you’ll be happy to know that there’s a wide variety of designs to choose from. And did you know that during World War II, men used to get female face tattoos on their bodies as a symbol of their love for their significant others? It just goes to show how meaningful these tattoos can be.
Slippery Tom has time available through October and beyond. For bookings and enquiries, call the Tatt Co on 03 9602 2555 or fill out our enquiry form.
Skull on skull
There’s not many more prominent spots to get tattooed than the side of your head. Lucky for Maisen, Cassie picked a tribal skull design from one of his flash sheets to compliment a tattoo he did on the other side. Tough spot to get tattooed but Cassie was extremely strong throughout!
Maisen is now taking bookings from October onwards! To book an appointment or to make an enquiry, call the shop on 03 9602 2555. Alternatively you can send Maisen a message on his Instagram or pop into the Tatt Co.
Forest Green Shirts
Spring has sprung and we’ve got a fresh crop of MTCo shop shirts! Screen printed in Melbourne on American Apparel t-shirts by our great mates Anti Future.
Available in Forest Green or Natural. Grab them online or in store before they’re all gone!
Sweethearts
We had the pleasure of having Charles Walsh visit and guest with us last week. Charles works at Whistler Street and Tattoo Rosies in Sydney and was on his first working trip down to Melbourne. Fellow nice guy Zac came in and picked a ‘true love’ design off one of Charles’ recent flash sheets.
For enquiries with Charles, send him a message on instagram. Keep an eye out on the Tatt Co blog and Instagram for his next visit to Melbourne!
Snake and flowers
Zoe finished off Alicia’s native flowers & snake back piece a couple of weeks ago. Completed in five sessions, Alicia sat super strong throughout! Healed photos coming soon.

We’re excited to have a few friends visiting the Tatt Co in September.

Matt is now booking August and beyond! For enquiries and bookings, send through a tattoo enquiry or contact the Tatt Co on 03 9602 2555.
